Lexington police leader out of a role after racist, expletive-laced recording is leaked

LEXINGTON, Omit. (WLBT) – A former Lexington police leader is out of a role after the board of aldermen voted to take away him on a slim vote.

At a different assembly Wednesday, the board voted 3-2 to oust embattled Leader Sam Dobbins, days after an expletive-laced, racist recording stated to be him used to be made public.

The board nearly instantly went into govt consultation, the place they had been for greater than an hour.

Investigator Charles Henderson has been named period in-between leader.

Dobbins has but to answer WLBT’s request for remark.

Robert Lee Hooker, a former officer with Lexington, made the more or less 16-minute recording.

He says the recording is a dialog between him and Dobbins that came about again in April.

A person at the recording, who Hooker says is Dobbins, used a lot of expletives, and a couple of racial epithets/derogatory phrases, and bragged about capturing one suspect no less than 119 instances.
